The image above is just an ad that we created but it gives you an idea of the "feel" of the new site. We will have the same fabulous colors (pink, aqua, lime and navy) and can't wait to show off the fresh site!

I can't wait for everyone to see. We will have much more organization, ideas and we will have some new resources for you fabulous party planners....
Also, we will be launching some new products for the shop.

Our New Logo (& what we are up to)

Hi friends!

We just had to share our new logo with you all. Our website has been "in the works" since last year...but we have been working with a programmer for the past several months. Stay tuned for the launch of our new website/blog!

We wanted to "clean up" our logo to give a fresh look. We had some input on the "ar" creative "look" from a super creative designer from Turkey!

We have been in business since February 2010 and have been wanting to organize our site...

We will be keeping the same colors as always (aqua, pink, lime with touches of navy) and the site will contain most of the elements that you can find on our blog... but in a much more organized fashion!

Can't wait to share!

Thanks!
Maureen

{Press} Lonny Mag / TRAD HOME Features Tilton Fenwick

Exciting News.... but first... for it to all make sense, story time....

Before Anders Ruff, I was a commissioned artist (Posh Papier was my company). I loved my work and had an amazing experience. Being a commissioned artist opened up the doors to some awesome opportunities.

Suysel Cunningham, an interior designer (and now friend) in NYC, found me on etsy. I had a shop but only a few items in it because of the largely custom nature of the work. Suysel bought a piece from my shop and then commissioned me to design several pieces. One of the pieces was for her upstate NY home.

Well, one of my favorite pieces that I designed was "Big Bang" for Suysel's upstate NY home.

Suysel dePedro Cunningham and Anne Maxwell Foster are the owners of Tilton Fenwick, and are an incredible talented interior designing duo.

Recently they were chosen to be featured in TRAD HOME magazine as "20 New Traditional Designers to Watch". HUGE accomplishment.

The magazine did a photo shoot of Suysel's upstate NY home and WOW, it is gorgeous.
Check out Trad Home magazine (pages 160 is where it begins)

The piece of artwork that I mentioned designing, "Big Bang", is featured in the article and I couldn't be more thrilled to have been mentioned!
Here it is, hanging over Suysel's beautiful couch!

There are SO many other details to share, but you need to check out the magazine to see the full spread.

I feel so lucky to have met Suysel. This past January, I met her up in NYC and helped with her daughter's 4th birthday. I love that I get to work with her on everything from invitations and parties to big pieces of artwork!
Suysel is such a thoughtful, talented and wonderful person.

Working with Suysel ended up leading to me creating a piece for her friend, Ashley Whittaker, that ended up being featured in House Beautiful. I am so thankful.

Suysel and Anne have a great thing going. I LOVE their style and constantly am inspired by their work. Check out Tilton Fenwick online and on facebook. You will LOVE these talented ladies and their style.

Congrats, Anne and Suysel!
"Big Bang" now has an even more special place in my heart ;-)

(PS. Check out their logo below... Gorgeous, right? Read the Trad Home article and see where they used their logo in the home. So chic!)

{TV} Sonoran Living TV Segment Featuring Anders Ruff Printables!

Super exciting news!
The fabulous TV Show, Sonoran Living, aired Friday with a special guest - Nancy from A to Zebra Celebrations.

The show was focused on how printables are the rage and how simple they can be.
They focused on how Anders Ruff Printables can add style,
detail and eye candy to any event, dessert table, or gift!
We are SO thrilled to have Anders Ruff printables featured on the show and hope you can take a minute to watch.

Here is a picture from the show of Stephanie, Sonoran Living host, and Nancy.

Nancy did a wonderful job. We fell in love with Nancy when we met her in NYC. She has a successful etsy business of her own. Check out her shop here. Nancy makes beautiful table runners, banners and ribbon garlands!

{News} What Anders Ruff is up to..... (and new Bubble Gumball package available in the shop!))

Phew! It has been almost exactly ONE year since we started Anders Ruff.
It was a whirlwind of a year and are so thankful for all of our clients and fans.

Over the next couple months we will be working on some fun and exciting things:
1) Revamping of the shop. We have been (and will continue to) add complete custom printable packages to coordinate with our invitations. We had SO many custom requests for items to match our invitations!

A great thing about this is that these packages reflect a 50% Savings over the total retail price of all of the package items individual costs.

Don't need the whole package of printable items? We will ALSO sell ANY designs from these packages a la carte.

We feel that this will allow you to celebrate in your own style - whether you just need an invitation and thank you note, or you want the whole package.

2) We are launching a new website for Anders Ruff. We have been working on this on and off for a few months and will be excited to share our new website sometime this spring/summer!

We have added many new packages to the shop and will continue to do so.
The newest collection is our "BUBBLE GUMBALL Birthday Party" customized printable collection....

Here are a few shots of some of the items in the package.

The invitation is sold separately.... the return address label is included in the package (or sold a la carte)....

Sweet little folding party labels.....

Favor hangtags....

A couple shots of some of the party logos included in the package...

Lots more included in the package!

BUBBLE GUMBALL Birthday Party available in the shop....

We just want to THANK YOU for all of your support and feedback!
We are loving what we do and we wouldn't' be doing this if it weren't for YOU!

It has been a very busy few months and we are FINALLY getting around to posting this really exciting feature!

The fall/winter 2010 issue of Brides Magazine featured a wedding that was planned by a fabulous client of ours, Linda Cylc. (Silk Style Events)

WE LOVE working with Linda and she always plans the most beautiful weddings!

Well, BRIDES magazine, Philadelphia, featured a wedding she planned and our work is in the article. It is the fall/winter 2010 issue.
Super exciting stuff!

We designed menus and programs for this wedding and they are featured in the 2 page spread. See below!

The wedding was at historic Glen Foerd on The Delaware. Beautiful, right!?

The program was a light pink and dark chocolate brown.

Be sure to check out Silk Style Events' website for more eye candy and inspiration.

{Straight from the Studio} I Heart Valentine's Day Collection Photo Shoot

Well, it seems as though our "I Heart Valentine's Day" shoot has been seen by many of you (THANK YOU to all of the featuring blogs for your support!).... however, we still need to share it on our OWN site! Becca Bond Photography did such an awesome job, and I can't wait to share all the photos...

This is by far one of our favorite projects that we've done. We included LIVE subjects this time (mostly our children ;)) to show off some fabulous clothing by MiniMooh. That posed a whole new aspect of styling, but it was SO much fun.

This post is image heavy...
but a nice sale surprise at the BOTTOM of the post!

We had major inspiration to do something different for the hanging decor. The paper plate polyhedrons are SO easy to make and we were pretty excited to create something unique.
You can find the tutorial on Disney Family Fun....

We used the printable logos as hanging detail on all of the apothecary glass jars.
Cotton candy made a GREAT filler display in the tall glass jars. The cookies from Allyson Jane were strung with ribbon and hung over these fabulous glass apothecary jars.... Don't you just LOVE the cookies!?
Here are some more of the beautiful cookies from Allyson Jane. She baked them with a hole in them so we could embellish with a ribbon. I love adding another texture to the cookies!

This cake was from a regular plain-old bakery (seriously - $8 at Target!) and we dressed it up with fancy and beautiful fondant from Sweet Petal Bakery. We love this option to decorate our own cake with professional decor/fondant!

Lollipops with the printable lollipop covers were stuck into the fun layered jello (SO easy to make!)

Patterned papers were used with heart craft punches to create this super fun garland that hung on the front of the table.

How cute and simple are these awesome fabric layered flowers....
the beauty is - they never die! ;-)

Don't you love the mini chocolate bars with the printable wrappers?
Also, the hershey kisses labels!?

These adorable lollis were from This Charming Candy...
They were GREAT props for the kids, too!How cute is the dress from Mini Mooh!?
...and the bow tie on my son, Jeffrey! (Mini Mooh)

We got this chalkboard at the Dollar store near us... what a fun prop it made for the kiddos....

Printable folding labels...

The cupcakes from Cupcrazed Cakery in Baxter....
Heather does such an amazing job making the most
unique flavors of cupcakes! These were scrumptious!

We love party flags - they looked really cute on top of the paper straws (from Bake It Pretty). Drink wrap wrapped around the Jones Soda....
Here is my little Peanut (Pierson)....

Are you smiling yet?

This is funny. The first photo Becca took of (my son) Pierson and Arden was this...
... the second shot....
It just took Arden's mom coming into the room and doing something cute to light up their faces!
Arden and Grayce showing off their MiniMooh dresses....

Here is Adria's adorable daughter, Grayce.... so cute!

Jeffrey (Anders) and Grayce (Ruff)... best of buddies!

Playin a little xx0 ;-)
Jeffrey LOVED the macarons from Sparkles Kitchen....
So did Grayce!

We used the patterned papers to make these hearts that
we topped the oreo truffles with....I just love all of the patterns!
(PS. I made these oreo truffles with my cookie girls - we get together every Christmas to make cookies and this year we made these! So fun, right?!)

We included some new design accessories in this package. Favor hangtag, and a template for a box with heart closure.... and a COOTIE catcher / fortune teller.... (bringing back memories yet?)
We used the twine from The Cupcake Social to create a sweet little pom on top.

Printable valentines with a folding pocket envelope to put around the valentine...
Patterned papers, again, being used! Aren't these little bottles so cute!?
Beautiful macarons from Sparkles Kitchen...
I'll leave you with this sweet shot....

Thank you to ALL of our fabulous contributors!

The 50% off sale has ended.... BUT....
We have so much LOVE for all of our fans, followers and clients - we are going to offer the printable design collection for 25% off through Valentine's day!
Get yours HERE....
