{Featured Parties} A Vintage Schoolhouse Party

I am a total nerd and loved every minute of school so this party made me want to go back to elementary school!

Audrey (of Sweet Cheeks Tasty Treats) came to us with this amazing idea to have a Dick and Jane inspired Vintage Schoolhouse Party for her daughter's 1st birthday. We were THRILLED to take on the design job. Audrey gave us a bunch of inspiration with all of her visions for the party.
(Remember, Audrey created the adorable cake pops for Super P's party!? DELISH!)

We started by designing an invitation for her.... (Check out how she displayed this adorable photograph of sweet Harper with the invitation and an adorable fabric bunting garland)

We loved this theme so much that the Vintage School House Invitation is now available in our shop.
The dessert table could not be more inviting. The huge poms, fabulous fabric bunting and the CHALKBOARD backdrop!

Ok... just wait til you see THESE. Pencil Pops - She has a tutorial on her blog so be sure to check it out!

She added party logos on the top... I just LOVE how she found items in her set colorway and used it throughout the party! The color of the pencils and cake pops are PERFECT!Printable party labels...

Look at the BEAUTIFUL cakes that Audrey made! Beautiful work!
I love how she used vintage flashcard style signs throughout the party as well!
YUM - chocolate pretzels by Audrey!
LOVE the display of cookies with the adorable Sally topper.

I absolutely love the cute chair prop... and the yummy treats displayed on it!I can't get over the adorable chalkboard backdrop!

If that wasn't enough eye candy... then read on....
LOVING the backdrop with the framed vintage artwork over the beverage table.
Audrey found the hobnail milk glass at local thrift shops! (Score!)
MORE adorable Cake Pops made by Audrey! Apples! I want one! (Eat your fruits and veggies, right!?)

Precious paper straws with adorable flags....

I love this antique piece that Audrey added style to by putting bright colored poms on top, buntings and adorable school house materials on the shelves.

Creative! Table with chalkboard top for the kids to color on!

I love how Audrey mixed in SO many vintage classroom elements. She had a whole box of old school materials and they added the PERFECT detail to the party styling...

Just LOVE these alphabet letters....

Another look at the table with the favors as well....

Adorable bags that Audrey used for the favors - adorned with printable favor hangtags and party logos...
We designed these book plates for Audrey and I think they just add the perfect touch to Harper's library!
Look at the absolutely precious little birthday girl!!
Great job, Audrey. I know how much time you put into this party and Harper is a VERY lucky little girl. I am SO excited and impressed with how everything turned out!
