{Featured Parties} A Whimsical Carnival Party

I LOVE to share client parties and THIS one is one that really excited me!

Do you remember the precious carnival party that we recently shared from Jennifer Medina and Joanna Garcia, of the Houston based event styling company, Petit Delights?

Well, we were so excited to see another set of photographs from another jaw dropping carnival party that Jennifer recently coordinated (and Joanna photographed!).

They sent out an Anders Ruff customized "Clowning Around" invitation to invite friends and family to Aris' carnival birthday party.

Guests were greeted by a festive balloon archway and stilt walker, Roly.

Check out the amazing balloon clowns that lined the entrance as well.

Hello, beautiful day! The bouncy house is SO cute - perfect for the carnival.

Doesn't this look like a REAL Carnival?
Beautiful centerpieces styled by Petit Delights...
Now, one of the focal points - the sweetest dessert table!
Printable birthday banner from our Clowning Around Collection...
Aren't the balloons stunning!? There are balloons used in this that I've never even seen! The twists and swirls and sparkles and letter balloons! LOVE THEM!
Now, onto the treat detail...
Perfect cake pops..PERFECT!
I love how they used our printable party logos on the sticks! Creative! See, there are SO many uses for party logos beyond your standard cupcake topper, favor tag, etc.

Another shot at the beautiful dessert table. I just want to JUMP into the photograph (and eat some treats as well ;-))
What's a carnival without whirly pops!?
I love the use of classic red/white wrapping paper for their displays...
These cookies are little masterpieces themselves.... WOW.
Printable party labels accessorized the beautiful cookie display...
Aren't those Big Top cookies amazing!?
Now, this photo is going to blow your socks off... This is quite possibly the most perfect carnival cake!!
Cool down with a bottled water - a stylish one to coordinate, that is.
They used our printable drink wraps to spruce up their water bottles....
The gift table...styled with a printable pennant banner....
More and more entertainment everywhere you go!
Balloon Art! Clown face painter and cotton candy machines... nostalgia.

Check out Roly - he entertained further with his unicycle and juggling acts...

Beautiful party! This was was really over "the big top", if you know what I mean! Another amazing job, Petit Delights!

{Straight From The Studio} Our Martha Inspiration: Part 2

For those of you have gotten used to our daily excerpts, you will notice I am showing you these same photographs again!

For any new readers, a quick recap - I picked up summer 2010 Martha Stewart's Weddings magazine last week and I saw the cutest party banner & food labels that they made out of vintage fabric for a wedding, and then showed how to do it out of paper.... See below!

{which inspired me to draw up this... not knowing what to make out of these fresh colors and simple graphics, I asked the readers for ideas... see below}

Sure enough, we found a comment that inspired us even further!
Erika, wrote in and told us that her daughter Charlotte, who is 4 years old, said it should be for a party called "Clownin' Around"...
WE LOVED IT!!!
Our current Circus/Carnival collection sells quite frequently, and "Clownin' Around" could add another option to this hot party theme!
So I passed along my design inspirations to Maureen, because she was in the mood to tackle this new invite design.
We collaborated ideas on this invitation to offer a new design that could appeal to everyone!
We are so excited to show you, how YOU (the readers/clients) help us create such fun designs!!!
....drum roll please.....
Think Coney Island - circa early 1900's.....
We wanted this invite to feel like old-school letterpress/vintage carnival posters...
Introducing: Clownin' Around
We will be working on a matching DIY party collection... and we will share it with you when it is ready!

(Erika- we will contact you, when the entire collection is done to send you something special... please thank your little Charlotte for us!!! We hope we made her proud!!!)
Stay tuned for more from this "Spectacular" collection!!!

{Featured Clients} A Vintage Carnival Birthday

A sweet client of ours, Ragan, shared photos from her daughter's vintage carnival 14th birthday party. It was actually a group party for Ragan's daughter and her 2 friends who were all turning 14. How fun!
What an amazing job she did! I was so excited to share the details with you all...

She purchased vintage carnival designs from our shop and used them throughout the party.

Ragan purchased the "Do-It-Yourself Carnival Design Collection" from our shop. We also sell fully customized designs as well. Here are some samples of the invitations we have done in the past (false information to protect privacy)

Now, on to the eye candy!

How cute is her entrance!? Love the vintage looking bike! This is so much better than the balloon "announcement" of where the party is at!

Second of all, look at this adorable vintage merry go round that she used to display good old fashioned Cracker Jack boxes!? (and the invitation we designed, too!)

Adorable centerpieces tied in well with the theme...

And check out the sweets table! Amazing! I just love it! The balloons colors completely match the vintage carnival graphic design suite that she purchased from our shop!A closeup of the styled table...
A closer look at all the yummy displayed treats!
A variety of beverages were available... Love how she used the logo from our carnival design package all over the place!
And of COURSE, water bottle wraps - my favorite touch to cheaply and effectively coordinate any party!
Everyone enjoyed the treats! Save me some cotton candy! My fav!
The crew... enjoying their personalized cupcakes!
Cupcakes... a staple at any party... adorable how she dressed up the cupcake stand! Add your own toppings! How fun!

Looked like a pretty awesome party!

Awesome job, Ragan!!! Thanks for sharing!

{Press on Anders Ruff} Featured on Swank Sweets!

I was so excited to see these photos from an event planned by a client of ours.

Swank Sweets, an awesome dessert table planner, purchased a whole set of Circus "Under the Big Top" items from our shop.

She did a really cool layout using the items, and I wanted to share a few of the photos.

Look how cute her table looks! She utilized the circus banner, labels, logos, tags and other items to create a really amazing and impressive looking table!

I like how she used the ticket reels to hold the cake!
A little view at the popcorn boxes with our circus/carnival logo on them.
And the "under the big top" party logo adorns adorable aqua gift bags...
Yummy candies in fun glass jars are labeled with the custom label design we created.
Check out our shop for the circus items! Such a great theme for boys or girls at any age!
