{Featured Clients} A Graduation Party for Crystal

We love when our printable design collections are re-purposed for different occasions. That's exactly what our client Aracely did for her daughter Crystal's graduation from Morgan State University. Aracely worked with our Design Editor, Caryn, to customize our New Year's Printable Design Collection to suit her party's graduation theme.

Congratulations Crystal on your accomplishment and congratulations Aracely for planning such a special event!

Aracely shared with us a few pictures from Crystal's party. You can also read more about her party and vendors on her blog here. Take a peek:

{Featured Clients} Team Pink versus Team Blue - A Gender Reveal Party for Baby Chisholm

Our client Eishia Chisholm recently had a baby shower, but not just any shower...this was a Gender Reveal Party. Guests were invited to come dressed in pink or blue and cast their vote for the winning team (Team Pink versus Team Blue). In her own words, Eishia describes the set-up...

"On Wednesday, Xzavier and I had our 20 week ultra sound. We wanted to do something a little different, instead of the tech telling us the sex of the baby on the spot, we had her write the sex baby on the sonogram and seal it in an envelope. We then had the envelope delivered to Cake Lady Jill, a local baker here in Charlotte. She made a cake that would reveal the sex of the baby at our “Gender Party” by the icing on the inside of the cake being blue or pink. Since, I LOVE surprises and hosting events this was the perfect way for us to find out if we were having a boy or a girl, and share this experience with our closest family and friends."

How FUN!!! Cake Lady Jill knew the sex of baby Chisholm and was instructed by Eishia to ice the inside of the cake in either pink or blue. The majority of the guests arrived in pink. Were they part of the winning team?!

Team Pink

Team Blue

The color scheme for the party was pink, blue, black and white. Eishia loved the look of our New Year's Eve Printable Design Collection but this is a Gender Reveal Party not a New Year's Eve Party?!?! Never fear, Anders Ruff Custom Designs is here. Eishia worked closely with Becky of the Anders Ruff team to customize the New Year's Eve Hollywood Glam printables to suit the theme of her party. Take a peek...

Look how beautiful Eishia's dessert table turned out! (Check out the mirrors behind the table that say BOY? in blue and GIRL? in pink.)

I spy the yellow cake containing the BIG surprise!

Eeeeek! Blue and pink onesie sugar cookies. I could eat them all up!!

How fun are these "Girl?" printables atop these yummy cake pops.

Everyone at the party worked up quite a thirst.

Becky customized for Eishia water bottle labels in both blue and pink.

The BIG REVEAL...PINK ICING...IT'S A GIRL!

Eishia had a sneaking suspicion and she was right; a mommy knows!
What a gorgeous mommy to be you are Eishia!

Eishia, thank you so much for sharing with us these pictures from your Gender Reveal Party. For more information, please check our Eishia's blog, Made From Love.

{Featured Clients} Bringing in the New Year beautifully!

Today we are showing off another fabulous client dessert table from New Year's Eve!

Pauline, of Australia, sent us these stunning photographs from her New Year's Eve styled table. We are LOVING the entire look of this table.

Pauline is the Director of The Party Studio (an online boutique selling party wares) and designer/director of Sophisticated Yum (a sweet event styling and design service). Pauline calls herself more of a 'savoury' girl, but loves scouring the internet for gorgeous looking desserts and tables and when she has spare time. (She loves to check out the delights Sydney has to offer).

I think she did an amazing job and has some really great ideas!

She used our printable papers to create those backdrop circular decoration motifs!

I love how she used frames as serving platters! Brilliant!

Aren't these cupcakes to die for!?

I love how she displayed the sparklers as well!

She did such a great job and we asked her for a statement about the table and how she put it together so nicely.

Below, Pauline talks about her inspiration and the execution of the table...

"I carried a piece of ribbon with me so that the table runner could match perfectly. I also wanted to use different types of black and white ribbon to add texture to the different elements. The look I was after was modern with a touch of vintage glam. The mini chocolate wrappers I used to cover mini menthos rolls. I also found some baubles in the perfect shade of teal and used these as decoration and also at the base of a vase filled with sparklers. I used some black frames as platters which framed the mini bite sized macarons and shortbread perfectly. These were lined with the Anders Ruff papers. The papers were also used to make the wall decorations. I chose to use the flags to decorate little kraft boxes that I filled with a pencil and a NY resolutions card for people to write in their NY resolutions. They could also use the box to fill up with goodies to take home."

Thank you, Pauline!
Happy 2011 everyone!

Mon Trèsor Designs a Delectable Dessert Table for New Year's Eve

"The posy of flowers were embellished with black sparkle buttons & sequined motif around the vase, to add that extra sparkle."

It always fascinates me how the internet brings together people from all over the world. Case in point is Suzanna, proprietress of Mon Tresor (my treasure). Suzanna lives in Sydney, Australia, where she is a mother, a wife, and a teacher. But wait, there’s more. In her own words, she “loves all things girly, ruffles and styling dessert tables, and I love to bake.” Mon Tresor and Anders Ruff Custom Designs are seemingly a match made in...the world wide web.

Suzanna created a fabulous dessert table featuring our New Year’s Printable Design Collection. Her table was featured yesterday by Tanya of Save the Date for Cupcakes and we wanted to highlight the pictures on our blog as well. Take a peek:

Suzanna designed her table around the our New Year's Printable Design Collection . For the backdrop, an elegant Victorian/baroque style silver and black backdrop was used to add glam. Fanciful fuchsia and aqua poms added pops of color to the silver and black fabric.

Suzanna featured bars of milk chocolate covered with our mini candy bar wraps.

Glass apothecary jars were filled with Lindt chocolate truffles in raspberry pink, black jellybeans, and sugar coated almonds.

Circle party logos served as cupcake toppers, and tent style fill in tags labeled the vanilla cupcakes. Suzanna embellished the fill in tags with miniature crystals.

Flag labels adorned the lemon cake pops. Suzanna also baked vanilla mud cupcakes.

The fill in tent style tags along with the patterned paper added a special touch to all of the desserts, including these mouthwatering macaroons.

What a great way to incorporate good luck wishes for the New Year! Fortune cookies dipped in white chocolate were sprinkled with pale blue sparkled sugar.

It's probably not a good idea to write this post on an empty stomach! Thank you again Suzanna for featuring our printable collection and thank you also to Tanya for sharing on Save the Date for Cupcakes this spectacular dessert table.
