BronStar Originals is a family owned business specializing in custom graphic design. Each time a new baby came along and it was time to decorate (or re-decorate) the nursery, Jennifer always found great artwork BUT it was always out of their price range. (Isn't that always the case?) If you can’t beat them, join them, right?! And so they did. BronStar Originals was founded by Jennifer and her mother, who named their business after their newest addition, a baby boy named Bronson.

{From our Studio} Caryn's Cowgirl Celebration!

The party we wanted to share with you today is by our very Own, Caryn Johnson! (one of our newest team members!) Caryn threw the CUTEST Cowgirl birthday party for your youngest daughter, Lauren over the weekend. I went down to take some quick photos, and was thrilled to see her put these graphic designs to such great use!

Caryn had the party at a local farm... where the kids could ride horses, run through haystacks and go for tractor rides.

She created such an eye-catching scene as soon as the guests arrived. Caryn brought in her own table and decorations (including a burlap covered back-drop). She pinned up banners and balloons, and even dressed the front of her table!

Caryn embellished pink cowgirl hats, she and her mother sewed cowgirl vests and found matching bandanas for EVERY guest! Ohhh... and every little girl received her own riding pony-stick. SO CREATIVE & FUN!!!

Caryn used the printable food labels to show off her delicious treats.... along with dark brown cloth napkins, pink badanas and ribbons.

She also created a tiered cupcake stand - made out of upside down baskets, to coordinate just perfectly with her party theme.

{Featured Client Parties} A Baby Shoe Shower!

A fabulously talented client of ours, Erin, contacted us to work on a baby shower that she was styling. I thought the idea was so adorable and we happily took on the custom project. Erin wanted to stick with pink, orange and brown and her event turned out so adorable! I'm really excited to share the photos from her shower. Erin is an amazing baker and made some really sweet sugar cookies... just wait to see!

Erin loves patterns (just like I do!) so I incorporated lots of variations of the patterns with sweet little baby shoes. I think it is a super sweet invitation (and would be great in other colorways, too!) (info changed to protect privacy) The invitation is now available in our shop!

She also had us design a registry enclosure card (cute and useful touch!) (photo below not to scale - this enclosure was a little bigger than a business card)

We also designed custom party logos, water wraps, food labels and more for Erin's event....

Look at the adorable tissue wreath that Erin created. She hung a party logo from the inside of the wreath...

Here is the dessert table. I love how she created faux-roman shades out of coordinating fabric! What a dramatic and adorable backdrop that made!

Don't you just love the initial as part of the centerpiece of the dessert table!? (The baby's name is going to be Brynlee)...

Here is a closeup of the roman shades to coordinate (PERFECTLY!)

Erin also used the logos scaled down to create hershey kisses labels. SO adorable! (Details, details, details!)

Erin served lemonade champagne and rimmed the glasses with pink sugar. MMM!

I love how she filled the vase with oranges on the favor table to coordinate with the color scheme.

She used the custom logos to personalize each favor box....

and HERE are the cookies I was referring to. Erin made these adorable baby shoe cookies with fondant buttons. You can't beat a good sugar cookie favor. Totally ties together the event and looks scrumptious!

{DIY} Halloween Hijinks Courtesy of Danielle at A Few of My Favorite Things

Danielle from A Few Of My Favorite Things is one of OUR favorite things (er, people) and she recently posted on her blog a DIY tutorial for a spooktacular playdate or Halloween party that will have your tots squealing with glee and leave their mommies green with envy!

Danielle used our Happy Halloween Printable Collection as her inspiration and did a fabulous job creating fun “boo” boxes and “scary” sippy cups.

1. Danielle cut our patterned paper into strips 3 inches wide by 9 inches long.

2. She then matched up the pieces to use for each snack box (you will need two per box) and punched holes in the corners at the top and bottom of each strip.

3. She folded each strip of paper at 3 inches and 6 inches in order to have three equally sized squares. You can do this a few ways - hold a ruler at 3 and 6 inches and fold the paper up; use a paper bone folder to score the paper and then fold; or use the Martha Stewart Scoreboard to crease the paper at your fold points like she did. One you've folded your strips, they'll look like this:

4. Take two of the strips with contrasting patterns and overlap them into a cross shape.

Use a glue stick or glue dots to attach the center pieces together.

5. Next, she took some ribbon to string and run it through the holes in the corners to hold the paper together and create the box shape, then tied the ends into a knot. She used ric rac on these "boo" boxes.

Fill them with snacks and they're ready for little fingers! Danielle got really crafty and used some of the party logos from our printable package to add a little more ghoulishness to her boxes. She added a skeleton to this one and filled it with animal crackers.

And this “boo” box got a Jack-o-Lantern logo and some Chex mix.

She also wanted to try something different with the last one so she stuck a Happy Halloween logo sticker onto it, added some Reese's Peanut Butter cups and wrapped it with cellophane. The perfect party favor!

For her “scary” sippy cups, Danielle bought these Design-Your-Own Cups from Oriental Trading (at $9.99 per dozen). She removed the paper that came inside and replaced it with labels she printed out from our Happy Halloween Printable Collection .

What was meant for soda and water was re-purposed for sippy cups. Just print the label wraps out, cut them to size, put them in the cups and you're done!

We were so excited to see that Korinne, of Swank Sweets, styled another amazing table using our printables. (Remember, she styled a carnival table awhile back that we posted about?)

She threw a beautiful pumpkin carving party and styled an amazing dessert table! They used the printables from our Happy Halloween Design Collection and it turned out AMAZING!
