School Day {Video} Sneak Peek and New Printable Collection!

All I can say is "FABULOUS!" This weekend was full of fun. Friday, we had our new Halloween photo shoot. Saturday morning, we had our School Day photo shoot.

We held the "School Day" collection photo shoot at a 1890 old one room school house!
My little Jeffrey (in the nerdy cute bow tie) and Adria's little Grayce (in the blue dress) were in the shoot along with two other precious models. Can't wait to share the whole photo shoot.

For now, here is a teaser - a video. We were making the kids laugh by talking about how Jeffrey was stinky. He got a kick out of it (he wasn't actually stinky but its all that we could say to make everyone laugh at the same time!)....

The printable "School Day" collection is in the shop and includes everything you need for a full year of organization, decoration and school - fabulousness.
(Great for teachers and/or parents!)

PS. "Nerd" is in.. just check the J Crew catalogs!

{Featured Parties} A Candy Land Party

We ALL love Candy Land, right?
Just wait until you see some of the great ideas that Crystal, a party planning mama, shared with us.
She recently shared photos from the sweetest
Candy Land party that she recently planned for her daughter, Paisley! (PUN intended!)

Crystal sent out super cute invitations.... Check them out!

The party event was a life size version of Candy Land! Literally!
The kids looked like they had so much fun!

Each part of the Candy Land Party/Game had an activity (or treat) associated with it. SO Creative!

Crystal used our Sweet Celebration Collection to decorate and accessorize throughout the party.

At the start of the party, they got their treat bags to carry throughout the game.

They did everything from decorating cupcakes at Cupcake Commons.
:) LOL

At Gummy Hills - the kids got a little bag of gummy bears that were packaged by making a bag topper using the printable package from our collection.

The kids made candy necklaces at Lolly Pop Woods.
The kids did a cake walk and Crystal gave away little prizes for the child that landed on the particular pink candy card when the music stopped.
The final prize was the actual Candy Land game!
The kids got to grab a Candy Cane for their treat bag at the Candy Cane Forrest.
At the Candy Castle, the kids got to jump out a little of the sugar!

The kids got to eat an ice cream treat at Ice Cream Slopes.... (of course!)
The kids had there choice of different flavored ice at the Ice Palace...

If that wasn't enough sweets, check out the treat table!
Crystal decorated with our printable "Sweet Celebration" banner and other printable graphics.

I LOVE the cake! So SWEET!

Adorable centerpieces....
Paisley looks so "sweet!"

At the end, Crystal gave away toothbrushes with a printable tag that said "Thank you for making my birthday so sweet". (Crystal was hoping to get back on the moms' good sides after all that sugar!)

I am blown away by all of the details!
Congrats on a very beautiful party!

The Sweet Celebration package is available in the shop!

{Featured Parties} A Whimsical Carnival Party

I LOVE to share client parties and THIS one is one that really excited me!

Do you remember the precious carnival party that we recently shared from Jennifer Medina and Joanna Garcia, of the Houston based event styling company, Petit Delights?

Well, we were so excited to see another set of photographs from another jaw dropping carnival party that Jennifer recently coordinated (and Joanna photographed!).

They sent out an Anders Ruff customized "Clowning Around" invitation to invite friends and family to Aris' carnival birthday party.

Guests were greeted by a festive balloon archway and stilt walker, Roly.

Check out the amazing balloon clowns that lined the entrance as well.

Hello, beautiful day! The bouncy house is SO cute - perfect for the carnival.

Doesn't this look like a REAL Carnival?
Beautiful centerpieces styled by Petit Delights...
Now, one of the focal points - the sweetest dessert table!
Printable birthday banner from our Clowning Around Collection...
Aren't the balloons stunning!? There are balloons used in this that I've never even seen! The twists and swirls and sparkles and letter balloons! LOVE THEM!
Now, onto the treat detail...
Perfect cake pops..PERFECT!
I love how they used our printable party logos on the sticks! Creative! See, there are SO many uses for party logos beyond your standard cupcake topper, favor tag, etc.

Another shot at the beautiful dessert table. I just want to JUMP into the photograph (and eat some treats as well ;-))
What's a carnival without whirly pops!?
I love the use of classic red/white wrapping paper for their displays...
These cookies are little masterpieces themselves.... WOW.
Printable party labels accessorized the beautiful cookie display...
Aren't those Big Top cookies amazing!?
Now, this photo is going to blow your socks off... This is quite possibly the most perfect carnival cake!!
Cool down with a bottled water - a stylish one to coordinate, that is.
They used our printable drink wraps to spruce up their water bottles....
The gift table...styled with a printable pennant banner....
More and more entertainment everywhere you go!
Balloon Art! Clown face painter and cotton candy machines... nostalgia.

Check out Roly - he entertained further with his unicycle and juggling acts...

Beautiful party! This was was really over "the big top", if you know what I mean! Another amazing job, Petit Delights!

{Featured Parties} Alden's 3rd Firetruck Birthday Party

Calling all firefighters to the station! It's time to share Alden's 3rd birthday celebration!

My dear friend, Kathryn (the editor of My Mommie Made It), celebrated her son's 3rd birthday recently.
I am excited to share with you her party details.

She sent out Anders Ruff invitations to set the tone for her party....

Kathryn is a talented seamstress and owns her own embroidery business. She whipped up this adorable fire hat appliqued shirt for her son, Alden, to wear on his big day.

The guests were greeted with the cutest easel and polkadot balloons to coordinate. (LOVE those!!) Alden was so excited when he saw the fire truck pull up!The Charlotte Fire Department is so nice! They came and let the kids play in and around the fire truck. They showed the kids some of the awesome features of the firetruck and even let them spray the fire hose!
My little Peanut had a BLAST!

Inside, sweets awaited the little ones. Kathryn had us design some coordinating printable party logos for the cupcakes. Her setup looked precious. She hung a banner on the mirror and embellished it with printable firetruck circle pennants.

She used adorable polkadot cupcake liners in the color scheme of red, white and black.

Alden loved his sweet cupcakes. Dr. Oetker makes the yummiest organic flavors and are our go-to for special occasions. She used Jacinda's Decorator Icing recipe from Prudent Baby and piped it on in sweet swirls. (She used the butter + vegetable shortening minus transfat + meringue powder version, and it was ah-mazing!) They were absolutely delicious!
When it was time to go, the kids got a cute wrapped up favor (firetruck sticker set) with an organic lolli and embellished with a printed favor tag.

Great job, Kathryn! We had a blast!

Kathryn has a blog called "My Mommie Made It". It is a place for all things crafty. Kathryn is a talented seamstress, crafter, artist, monogrammer (is that a word?) and more!
She has an etsy shop that she is in the process of opening so be sure to check her out!
