{Featured Parties} A Western Cowboy Party from Sydney Australia! (A Little Polkadot)

Kirsten from Sydney, Australia submitted these amazing photos of a Western Cowboy Party that she styled and planned. She and her friend, Di, run "A Little Polkadot", and create some really stunning parties! Definitely a must see site! (I always love to see a partnership of creative mommies!)

We have had some fabulous client parties that Western Cowboy and I am really excited to show you this party! This party is a prime example of the ways to use printables to make your party "unique"!

Below is the seating area for the children. Kirsten's husband is quite a handy guy and made these super cute benches. I love the gingham table cloth and the hay stacks, too!

They took the printables that we designed and made this adorable bunting. (They trimmed off the edges of the pennants to create this super cute shape! I love how they made it their own!)

Each child had an adorable cowboy hat at their seat....

Now onto the dessert table..... AHH! I love it!
I love the burlap backdrop and how it makes everything on the table "pop".

Di made ALL of the desserts. Beautiful, right!?
I love how they used a wooden crate to raise up the cake.

Don't you LOVE the cake!? Simple and perfect.
Di created the fondant cowboy/horse to match our printables!
Check out these beautiful chocolate cowboy boot lollipops.

The cupcakes are just perfect in vanilla and chocolate with adorable wrappers and ribbon accents. (and of course, printable party logos/cupcake toppers!)

Di made S'mores pops... delish and SO cute for a cowboy party.

Beautifully packaged toffee apples.... Perfection!

Apple bobbing! I just love it - brings back memories. Such a classic party game!
They also had sack races.

We all know my favorite part of a party is the party favor!
I love how they displayed the favor bags with the printable hangtags.
Those are authentic Texan cowboy boots, too.

Beautiful job, ladies. I love the detail and amazing touches you added to make this a really spectacular party.
THANK YOU for sharing. Be sure to check out A Little Polkadot!

The Western Cowboy printable design collection and invitation are available in our shop.

{Featured Clients} Bringing in the New Year beautifully!

Today we are showing off another fabulous client dessert table from New Year's Eve!

Pauline, of Australia, sent us these stunning photographs from her New Year's Eve styled table. We are LOVING the entire look of this table.

Pauline is the Director of The Party Studio (an online boutique selling party wares) and designer/director of Sophisticated Yum (a sweet event styling and design service). Pauline calls herself more of a 'savoury' girl, but loves scouring the internet for gorgeous looking desserts and tables and when she has spare time. (She loves to check out the delights Sydney has to offer).

I think she did an amazing job and has some really great ideas!

She used our printable papers to create those backdrop circular decoration motifs!

I love how she used frames as serving platters! Brilliant!

Aren't these cupcakes to die for!?

I love how she displayed the sparklers as well!

She did such a great job and we asked her for a statement about the table and how she put it together so nicely.

Below, Pauline talks about her inspiration and the execution of the table...

"I carried a piece of ribbon with me so that the table runner could match perfectly. I also wanted to use different types of black and white ribbon to add texture to the different elements. The look I was after was modern with a touch of vintage glam. The mini chocolate wrappers I used to cover mini menthos rolls. I also found some baubles in the perfect shade of teal and used these as decoration and also at the base of a vase filled with sparklers. I used some black frames as platters which framed the mini bite sized macarons and shortbread perfectly. These were lined with the Anders Ruff papers. The papers were also used to make the wall decorations. I chose to use the flags to decorate little kraft boxes that I filled with a pencil and a NY resolutions card for people to write in their NY resolutions. They could also use the box to fill up with goodies to take home."

Thank you, Pauline!
Happy 2011 everyone!
