{Client Party} - Sweet Celebration - I Scream You Scream We All Scream for Ice Cream!

We have another Sweet Celebration Party to share with you this week... this time it is an Ice Cream Version.

A super sweet new client of ours, Ellen, loved our current Sweet Celebration Printable Design Collection (with cakes and cupcakes) so much but wanted Ice Cream to be included.... so we are now offering a Printable Sweet Celebration Ice Cream Collection and Invitation!

We are excited to share Ellen's photos! Take a look at this adorable set-up she created at her local Ice Cream Parlor! Who says ice cream parties have to be in the summer? A perfect indoor party theme!

The sweet shop dessert and treats setup looks beautiful! Ellen did a wonderful job decking out the sweet shop!

I love how she baked her cupcake in a waffle cone (We did this for Jeffrey's pool party and he felt SO special for him to have his own!)

Cupcakes in ice cream cones, our favorite! I love how she wrapped the boxes for display. Love the lollipop stands, too!She used the patterned papers included in the printable design collection to create cones for the guests to fill with treats of their choice.
Here are her water bottles with the custom designed printable wraps...

The "celebrate" banner that is included in our printable design collection....
Check out this chic table scape! I love the centerpieces.

A closer shot at the centerpieces. So whimsical and fun!I love how she used the party logos for a napkin wrap, and she used the square party logo for the paper plates.... a great way to personalize your party ware!

The place setting looks so adorable! Party logos are great for personalizing everything and anything!
How adorable is her party!? I love the chandelier, too! It goes so well with her setup!

The birthday girl sure looks happy with how everything turned out!

Look at her beautiful family! Thank you for sharing your beautiful party photos, Ellen!

{DIY Recycle Project} Colorful Cork Mobiles by Jen

Jen, from efootprints.com (I posted about her blog and shop awhile ago... fabulous)
has some of the most creative crafts out there. Not only for kids - for big people, too!

She recently posted about a creative way to recycle wine corks. (We could all use a little recycling crafts in our lives, right?) I just love the way she used corks to create bright, fun, modern mobiles! Oh, and these would be cute for parties, too! (and nearly free!)

For me, I'd have to get someone to drink the wine since I'm not much of a drinker, but I have plenty of people around me (clears throat) who would love to polish off a bottle of wine that I uncork.

Use a needle and thread and hang on bamboo sticks....

Go check out her blog for better instructions ;-)
Jen, you are the MOST creative!

By the way, check out her etsy shop, too! (Amazing handmade dresses and patterns!)
(her blog is here)

My {Sweet} 38!

My 38th (bleh!) birthday is bearing down on me like a freight train (November 2, if you are curious). I’ve never had a birthday party as an adult and I was thinking about what type of party I would have (if I were to have one). I think that I would literally have a Sweet 38th Birthday Party – just desserts and open bar. Why? I love martinis, I love dessert and it's MY birthday!!!

The invitation (see below...another Anders Ruff fab creation), but remove the 16 and insert 38. Edit name and location, etc.

The venue: The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte, NC (because I live in Charlotte).

Décor: Uh. Comfy and casual chic??? Need help with this (little) detail.

DJ: That Guy Smitty (LOVE Smitty! He spins the best tunes.)

Food: Desserts and drinks: Amy Atlas dessert table(s) and open bar (lots of martinis)!

Presents: No presents – your presence is my present. (Unless you want to pitch in some $$ for some Botox and Juvederm - it gets expensive!)

Start time: 8:00 p.m.

End time: 12:00 a.m. – That’s pushing it for me (I’m a morning person) and pumpkin o’clock at my house is usually between 9:45-10 p.m. But, what the H E double hockey sticks, I can stay up until midnight on my birthday, right?!

Do you think MTV would come and film My Sweet 38? Probably not. But, Fantasia lives right around the corner from me...maybe I could invite her and be on her VH-1 show, Fantasia For Real.

Let's party!

Carrie
