{DIY} Super Sweet Sushi

As I plan Jeffrey's Pool Party (5th Birthday party), I have been obsessed with finding inspiration from blog searches and such. I came across the most adorable idea as I was searching for images of colored rice krispie treats. (I am doing a dessert table that is all green and blue to match the colors of his party).

How adorable are these!? I LOVE sushi and I think it is so pretty! I also love sweets so what is better than candy sushi!?

I mean could it be any easier!? Fruit roll ups act as the "seaweed" wrap. (LOVE the colors), rice krispie treats are the "sticky rice" layer and then twizzlers or other candy for the beautiful center. They also used Swedish fish to top off the sashimi! (Photo from purpletrail)

Photo from Not Martha. I just love how they used sugared donuts and twinkies in this image above!

Give the kids some chopsticks and they are sure to have some fun! The above photo was taken from design dump.

Or even more fantastic - look at the detail on the photo above. THey used orange sprinkles as the "roe" . Marzipan, chocolate and marshmellows were also used to make them look SO REAL! (from yum sugar)

Now I want to have a Japanese themed party so I can make these little beauties!
