{Giveaway} Gracious Garlands and Peppy Toppers from Potter & Butler

I absolutely LOVE this week’s giveaway. I’m taking out my pom poms, dusting them off and jumping for joy! Well, not really; however, when you see the merry poms created by Potter & Butler, you will be doing a little dance too.

Potter & Butler are “makers of handmade goods for merry celebrations.” Partners and close friends, Emily and Carrie launched their business after they left the world of print advertising. They went their separate ways (Emily to Portland, Oregon, and Carrie to Des Moines, Iowa), but kept in touch. Their desire for a creative collaboration came to fruition in the form of

Potter & Butler.

In their own words, “the name, Potter and Butler, is a tribute to our great-grandmothers, Etta Potter and Mirium Butler, who were independent, strong, free-thinking, artsy, talented, bird-lovin’, caring about the greater good, resourceful, and stylish (in their own right ) ladies – who could make anything, and more often than not, did make everything – by hand. Potter and Butler is a little bit of us. It’s a little bit of them. It’s a little bit of now. And a little bit of then. And it is our intention for the raw delight of handmade goodness, that was so alive and well in the lives of Ms. Potter and Ms. Butler, to be part of the lives of others- and all the merry celebrations that adorn those lives.”
