Jennifer Ho, a client and fellow Etsy seller, created magic for her son Stephen’s birthday. Jennifer is über talented, in fact, I am so impressed with her Etsy shops (that’s right, she has two), that I want to gush over those first. Jennifer sells her adorable line of children’s clothing at Minimoo Handmade , AND sells a line of DIY patterns and complete dress kits at Growing Up with Charissa. Oh, and one more thing, please check out her blog - it is SO FUN!
On to the celebration!
On to the celebration!
Jennifer chose our Vintage Carnival themed invitation for Stephen’s party and did she ever go over the Big Top.
To create a party atmosphere, she cleared out her family's basement, filled the ceiling with balloons and adorned the walls with colorful streamers interspersed with pictures of Stephen.
It only gets better and better! Check out the hit of the party...a photo booth. Jen made props for her guests and they are a hoot!
Stephen, the birthday boy and his grandmother.
The props!
Jen planned a variety of fun activities to keep the little ones engaged.
My personal favorite, the cotton candy bean bag toss.
The rubber duckie-less flower pond (Jen used baby jar lids on the bottom of the flowers).
The make your own "carnival" jewelry station (using colored pasta).
The penny toss!
Chocolate covered pretzels with colorful sprinkles were the birthday treat. It's nice to take a break from cake!
Jen used our coordinating labels to adorn bottles of raspberry-lemonade.
The little boys received these adorable tee's as a party favor. While the girls received these:
Precious!
Jen, you know how to plan a party! Are you for hire?
Jen
