Do you remember me raving about all of the amazing things you can do with Japanese Washi Masking Tape?
All I have to say is, put together 2 of my obsessions...
Ribbon + Tape = Japanese Washi Masking Tape!
Glenda, from Pretty Tape on etsy (cutetape is her fabulous website), has the most BEAUTIFUL Japanese Washi Masking Tapes! I was like a kid in a candy store when I was browsing her shop.
She offers a major variety of unique patterns and colors of this versatile masking tape. She also sells some beautiful stamps, art deco stickers, labels and glassine envelopes and more on her site.
It is no surprise that she has had over 9,000 sales (on etsy alone!) in ONE year! (Wow!)
I can't wait to show you some of my favorite products of hers.... Get thinking about what you might use the fun tape for! If you are having a party, sending off cards, or doing any type of craft - your head will be spinning with ideas!
Let me refresh your memory about some of my favorite uses for the tape!
Maybe Jeffrey would keep his markers nice and organized if I helped him make a cool container like THIS...Taped cans from PicnicBlog
I could think of a MILLION reasons to hang cards and design them like this....

I love the different widths and colors...
Check out the sticker sets, too!
All of the fun patterns are enough to make my head spin with ideas!
I just have to have this tape dispenser from her shop, as well!
I love the uses that Glenda shows on her site....
Cute!
We get so many orders for our airline boarding pass... how perfect would the tape be to finish off the envelope?
How about along the binding of a book, journal, or handmade booklet!?
Look how fun these patterns and color combos are!?

I've been reading about this tape EVERYWHERE but haven't tried it. The site is great, but I think I would like to start with something basic like the Washi 12 Pack.
ReplyDeleteLove LOVE this tape! I am going to host a little girls' night next week & would love to use this tape to make food signs & wine tags!
ReplyDeleteI think I would start with jazzing up my note cards. My son is away in the Army Ranger School, and I send him little note cards of encouragement -- I dont think he'd mind a little pink or purple tape. :)

ReplyDeleteI also just noticed all the really "bright" colored tapes and those would be cute as borders around the mat opening on my daughters frames in her room. Super cute!
ReplyDeletePS ~ would also be super cute around a lampshade top/bottom edges. You could even glue on the a trim first then put this just above it. How cute and a different look for being layered!
